• Conduct freedom-to-operate (FTO) and patentability analyses to support R&D and product development
• Assist with IP portfolio strategy and competitive landscape reviews
• Collaborate with scientific and business teams to align patent protection with innovation and commercialization goals
• Support due diligence and licensing matters, including technology-transfer and collaboration agreements
• Monitor global patent filings and industry trends in life sciences and adjacent tech/software areas
• Handle patent prosecution, freedom-to-operate analyses, and portfolio management while providing technology fluency
