About the role
- Lead and oversee a sustainable, enterprise-wide Medicare Secondary Payer (MSP) compliance program
- Evaluating and maintaining Medicare Responsible Reporting Entity (RRE) IDs
- Managing claims data collection and reporting across multiple claims systems
- Monitoring reporting accuracy, error rates, and corrective actions
- Implementing processes for creation and ongoing management of RRE IDs
- Training and guidance to ensure personnel awareness of MSP data collection and reporting requirements
- Ensuring segment teams and corporate leadership receive timely information regarding Medicare reporting activities
- Monitoring legal and regulatory developments and updating the compliance program accordingly
- Conducting regular meetings with segment teams and corporate leadership
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Juris Doctor (JD) or equivalent strongly preferred
- 7+ years of commercial insurance experience
- 7+ years of compliance-related experience, including MSP compliance
- Demonstrated experience managing Medicare Secondary Payer compliance programs
- Ability to lead teams with varied backgrounds across multiple locations
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to exercise sound professional judgment
