About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Direct line management of four Account Management employees
  • Coaching, performance evaluation, employee development and HR reporting
  • Regular coordination with business lines and competence centers to continuously develop the service offering
  • Strategic account planning and development of the team's clients
  • Responsible for recruiting, selection and structured onboarding of new employees
  • Establishing, maintaining and improving processes, structures and guidelines
  • Design and implementation of advisory models and consulting formats (Trusted Advisor)
  • Ensuring sustainable knowledge and competence management
  • Ensuring compliance with the normative requirements of Axians Somnitec AG
  • Direct management of a strategic existing client portfolio as the primary point of contact
  • Budget responsibility and revenue planning for own clients
  • Strategic account planning and ongoing development of own clients
  • Ensuring and measuring customer satisfaction
  • Conducting regular account and steering committee meetings

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Several years of senior-level leadership experience in account management
  • Industry experience in IT (MSP environment)
  • Completed HF or FH qualification with a business/economics or comparable background
  • Proven expertise in strategic account planning and client development
  • Experience in budget planning and revenue responsibility
  • Leadership experience including recruitment, coaching and staff development
  • Experience designing advisory and consulting formats (Trusted Advisor)
  • Strong understanding of quality, processes and organizational structure
  • Excellent written and spoken German and English
