About the role

  • You assist colleagues with IT issues and ensure they feel confident and comfortable in the digital environment.
  • You ensure our IT infrastructure runs smoothly and is continuously optimized.
  • As the first point of contact for IT questions, you communicate with employees in a clear and empathetic manner.
  • You are responsible for configuring, administering and monitoring internal and external network and server environments (e.g., Linux, Windows, reverse proxies such as Apache, WAF solutions such as ModSecurity, OWASP, and MS SQL/MySQL databases).
  • You are responsible for configuring, administering and monitoring physical and virtual servers as well as SAN and firewall environments.
  • You provide customer support and technical consulting to our clients.
  • You build and manage cloud services for our clients.

Requirements

  • Completed vocational training in the IT field or an equivalent qualification
  • Initial experience in technical IT
  • You are as interested in the human side of IT as you are in the technical aspects
  • You enjoy working in a team and interacting directly with employees
  • Very good written and spoken German
