About the role

  • Responsible for domestic and international incoming invoices within the electronic invoice workflow (including VAT verification)
  • Review and posting of incoming invoices in SAP
  • Account reconciliations, dunning processes, master data maintenance
  • Oversight and management of fixed assets accounting, including inventory
  • Management of accruals and deferred items
  • Preparation of VAT returns and Intrastat declarations
  • Preparation of reports, analyses, external filings and statistics
  • Support for year-end closing, consolidation and intercompany reconciliations

Requirements

  • Completed commercial apprenticeship (e.g., Industriekaufmann/-frau, Bürokaufmann/-frau) or comparable qualification
  • Several years of professional experience in financial accounting
  • Good knowledge of HGB (German Commercial Code) and SAP (FI/MM)
  • Confident user of MS Office, especially Excel
  • Independent, structured and reliable working style
  • Excellent German and good English skills
