About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develops, trains and supports our customers to meet the needs of our collision shop customers, with primary focus on the Economy Segment in the areas of new products, technical support, training availability
  • Maintains expert level of knowledge and competency in all Axalta brands focusing on the Economy Segment products to support new customer installations, training and certification of painters, and troubleshoot technical issues
  • Conduct product training sessions and demonstrations for customers and automotive professionals to showcase best practices, application techniques and provide guidance in optimizing paint and material system performance and profitability
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with customers and industry partners

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High School Diploma required with certification or training in collision repair (refinish or paint application) preferred
  • Minimum of 1 year working in the automotive aftermarket/collision industry required
  • 5+ years in the automotive industry preferred
  • Familiar with automotive paint and collision repair products including primers, base coats, clear coats and other related materials as well as paint mixing systems
  • Valid Driver’s License required
