About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Direct responsibility for the sale of coatings to existing and new distribution partners in the US and Canada.
Develop and train current Industrial Distribution Partners and open new Industrial Distribution outlets in the US.
Provide responsive and knowledgeable support and advice to customers.
Manage Industrial projects and trials to ensure industry leading service and support.
Actively participate in industry associations to build the brand and stay informed of trends.
Work with our technical team on new products and lab projects to achieve growth strategies.
Manage sales documentation to ensure knowledge is captured and shared with company and customers.
Interface with customer service, factory operations, and the technical lab on customer activities.
Document and publish best practice SOP’s for use of Axalta wood coatings.
Develop remote Distribution Training Program.
Train Industrial Distribution Partners on Axalta Finish Excellence.

Requirements

What you’ll need

5+ years Sales experience in the Chemicals Industry
Bachelor’s Degree (Minimum)
Must pass Background Check, Drug Screen and Motor Vehicle Check (Will use Company Car)
