About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Overall functional and organizational responsibility for SAP SD projects
Lead and manage SAP SD projects (implementations, rollouts, optimizations, S/4HANA transformations)
Responsible for project planning, budget, resources, timelines and quality
Primary point of contact for clients (project management, IT, business departments)
Analyze, design and optimize sales and billing processes in SAP SD
Provide functional consulting and SAP SD customizing (e.g., order-to-cash, pricing, invoicing, delivery processes)
Conduct workshops, requirements analyses and decision-making sessions
Coordinate developers and external service providers
Responsible for risk management, reporting and escalation management
Support testing, cutover, go-live and hypercare

Requirements

What you’ll need

Degree (Business Informatics, Business Administration) or equivalent qualification
Several years of experience as an SAP SD consultant
Strong knowledge of SAP SD (ECC and S/4HANA)
Solid understanding of sales, delivery and billing processes
Experience in traditional and/or agile project management
Strong leadership, communication and facilitation skills
Structured, self-reliant and solution-oriented working style
High client orientation and willingness to travel for projects
Excellent German and good English skills
Desirable: experience in S/4HANA transformation projects (Greenfield / Brownfield)
Knowledge of Condition Contract Management (CCM)
Knowledge of Advanced ATP (aATP)
Familiarity with related SAP modules (e.g., MM, EWM)
SAP or project management certifications (e.g., SAP SD, SAP Activate, PMP, PRINCE2, Scrum)
Experience leading project teams or subprojects
Industry experience in manufacturing, retail or logistics
