About the role

  • Overall professional and organizational responsibility for SAP SD projects
  • Leading and managing SAP SD projects (implementations, rollouts, optimizations, S/4HANA transformations)
  • Responsibility for project planning, budget, resources, timelines and quality
  • Central point of contact for the client (project management, IT, business units)
  • Analysis, design and optimization of sales and billing processes in SAP SD
  • Functional consulting and customizing in SAP SD (e.g., Order-to-Cash, pricing, billing, delivery processes)
  • Conducting workshops, requirements analyses and decision sessions
  • Managing developers and external service providers
  • Responsibility for risk management, reporting and escalation management
  • Supporting tests, cutover, go-live and hypercare

Requirements

  • Degree in Business Informatics, Business Administration or comparable qualification
  • Several years of experience as an SAP SD consultant
  • Very good knowledge of SAP SD (ECC and S/4HANA)
  • Solid understanding of sales, delivery and billing processes
  • Experience in traditional and/or agile project management
  • Strong leadership, communication and moderation skills
  • Structured, independent and solution-oriented way of working
  • High customer focus and willingness to travel for projects
  • Very good German and good English skills
  • Desirable: Experience in S/4HANA transformation projects (Greenfield / Brownfield)
  • Knowledge of Condition Contract Management (CCM)
  • Knowledge of Advanced ATP (aATP)
  • Knowledge of related SAP modules (e.g., MM, EWM)
  • SAP or project management certifications (e.g., SAP SD, SAP Activate, PMP, PRINCE2, Scrum)
  • Experience leading project teams or subprojects
  • Industry knowledge in manufacturing, retail or logistics
