About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead end-to-end coordination of software releases.
  • Own the end-to-end release lifecycle, establishing structured, consistent processes.
  • Drive planning, manage dependencies, and ensure reliable delivery.
  • Collaborate with product managers, engineering teams, and stakeholders to define release plans.
  • Manage the end-to-end release lifecycle, including scheduling, coordination, and stakeholder communication.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate risks that may impact release quality or timelines.
  • Partner with QA teams to ensure releases meet quality standards.
  • Maintain accurate release documentation, including release notes and deployment procedures.
  • Facilitate communication and alignment across cross-functional teams.
  • Provide post-release support and troubleshooting.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen and eligible to obtain a Secret clearance.
  • 5+ years in software delivery, DevOps, or release management roles.
  • Experience releasing applications, in a Low Code/No Code Environment, like Appian.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field or equivalent experience.
  • Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and release management processes.
  • Strong understanding of Agile frameworks like Scrum, Kanban, or SAFe.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills, capable of handling multiple projects at the same time.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience with release management tools and version control systems (e.g., Git, Jira, Jenkins, etc.).
  • Ability to comply with all government security requirements is required for continued employment.
