About the role
- Draft 90-100+ comprehensive and persuasive settlement demand letters for personal injury cases/month.
- Review and summarize medical records, bills, and supporting documentation utilizing AI software.
- Analyze liability and clearly outline arguments for insurance carriers.
- Calculate and present special and general damages.
- Ensure accuracy, completeness, and organization of demand packages.
- Collaborate with attorneys, case managers, and support staff.
- Maintain productivity in a high-volume environment.
Requirements
- Minimum 2+ years experience as a demand writer or legal writer in personal injury law (U.S.-based firms preferred).
- Strong understanding of personal injury claims process.
- Experience reviewing medical records and billing summaries.
- Excellent written English skills (grammar, tone, and clarity are critical).
- Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple cases simultaneously.
- Familiarity with case management software (e.g., Salesforce Litify, EvenUp) is a plus.
- Stable internet connection and reliable remote work setup - preferably with double screens.
