About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Serve as an onsite HR representative, supporting operations management and hourly team members
  • Assist in the implementation of corporate and local People & Culture initiatives
  • Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local employment laws, collective bargaining agreements, and internal policies
  • Coordinate and support confidential investigations and employee relations matters
  • Identify and address HR-related issues, maintaining confidentiality and escalating when appropriate
  • Partner with operations to ensure compliance with airport and landlord policies and expectations
  • Manage end-to-end recruitment processes, including job postings, applicant screening, interview coordination, and onboarding logistics
  • Respond to team member inquiries regarding compensation, scheduling, policies, and general concerns
  • Maintain accurate employee records and HR systems; perform administrative tasks including data entry, reporting, and document retention
  • Facilitate new hire orientation to ensure a positive and compliant onboarding experience

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 2–4 years of administrative experience, ideally in HR
  • 1+ year of hospitality, food & beverage, or retail experience preferred
  • Combined education and experience must exceed 2 years
  • Coursework toward HR certification or demonstrated knowledge of HR laws, regulations, and best practices required
  • Strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • High level of professionalism, confidentiality, and discretion
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities
  • Able to interpret and simplify policies and legal documents for team understanding
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; skilled in creating documents, spreadsheets, and presentations
  • Comfortable using HRIS and business systems; quick to learn new technologies
