About the role

  • Welcome and greet customers with a smile
  • Communicate well with customers, coworkers, and store management
  • Know the store layout to help customers find what they need and answer their questions
  • Operate a cash register efficiently
  • Follow company policies, including cash handling and loss prevention procedures
  • Inform management about pricing, inventory, and out-of-date issues
  • Protect company assets and stock merchandise in the store and backroom
  • Sort and organize damaged and outdated products and notify management of out-of-stock items
  • Keep the store neat and clean by sweeping, dusting, straightening merchandise, and taking out the trash
  • Continuously replenish stock on the sales floor
  • Assist with inventory counts and resolving inventory discrepancies
  • Perform other related tasks as needed

Requirements

  • Being flexible to work any shift, including weekends and holidays
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, capable of interacting with diverse personalities
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Capability to lift 40-60 pounds
  • Comfortable working in an environment exposed to varying temperatures
  • Strong time-management and problem-solving skills
