About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Analyze customer forecasts and trends using Manufacturing Resource Planning (MRP) concepts
  • Work with customers and sales to plan and buy to forecast
  • Prepare forecast models and assess forecasting feasibility with customers, suppliers, sales, and other stakeholders
  • Apply inventory management discipline to assess inventory levels and aging
  • Participate in program setup and maintenance, including part profiles, new part additions, End of Life transitions, and model changes
  • Recommend modifications to program setup and operations to enhance efficiency and revenue
  • Support assigned customer accounts or cross/multi-supplier solutions
  • Negotiate and collaborate with suppliers on channel and distributor policy decisions affecting supply chain
  • Monitor business processes and lead or drive development of improved supply chains
  • Align company and supplier goals and objectives
  • Engage Sales, Supplier Management, customers, suppliers, and other stakeholders to align accountability and achieve service-level agreements
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Typically 3+ years of work experience with a bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience from which comparable knowledge and job skills can be obtained
  • Thorough knowledge of principles, theories, and concepts in the relevant discipline
  • Competence in job functions and general understanding of industry practices, techniques, and standards
  • Experience developing solutions for varied situations and working on projects requiring evaluation and analysis
  • Ability to work independently and exercise judgment and discretion
  • Ability to collaborate with management and team members across departments and organizational areas
  • Knowledge of Manufacturing Resource Planning (MRP) concepts
  • Knowledge of inventory management, forecasting, supply chain, and supplier/distributor policies
