About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide advice and guidance to line managers and HR Business Partners on a wide range of employee relations matters, ensuring policies and procedures are followed to mitigate risk and achieve effective outcomes
- Advise employees and managers on all HR policy‑related queries
- Support HR and wider business projects, collaborating with team members to deliver agreed outcomes
- Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date case management records
- Coach and support managers on employee relations activities in line with company policies and local employment legislation
- Provide guidance and support to managers during investigations, disciplinary, grievance, and hearings as required
- Occasional UK travel may be required.
Requirements
What you’ll need- CIPD qualification (or equivalent practical experience)
- Strong knowledge of UK employment law, with a particular focus on employee relations
- Proven experience managing employee relations cases from initial advice through to full case management
- Ability to work independently while exercising sound judgment and discretion
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Strong critical thinker
- Experience with case management systems would be a benefit.
