About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Purchase and provide order fulfillment activities in support of business demand.
Manage the order status process, ensuring shipping and delivery information is accurate.
Ensure post Purchase Order (PO) placement updates are complete.
Develop and manage relationships with suppliers to meet shipping and delivery commitments.
Negotiate pricing with suppliers to support customer opportunities.
Work with warehouse and logistics teams to ensure product is received and delivered on time.
Manage non-conforming inventory and provide timely communication on order status.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Qualified or part-qualified purchasing professional
Experience in purchasing, supplier delivery performance, order management and logistics
Excellent communication skills
Detail-oriented – ensures accuracy in order processing, tracking, and reporting
Foundational knowledge of specialized disciplines, acquired via academic instruction and/or relevant work experience
Problem-solving mindset
SIP (Supplier Improvement Process) Purchasing Certification could be considered an advantage
