About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

End-to-end closing responsibility for two distribution companies (balance sheet total > €50 million)
Provide support for customer receivables from other teams
Part of a site accounting team of 25 colleagues covering Germany and Europe for approximately 50 company codes
Participate in company-wide projects
Harmonize accounting across EMEA with a view to SAP S/4HANA

Requirements

What you’ll need

You are an experienced accountant familiar with all areas of accounting for a large corporation (proven track record)
Interaction with auditors, tax advisors, and management is part of your role
You have experience with international balance sheet topics, including ledger-specific accounting treatments
You have very good SAP skills (R/3 and S/4)
At least a good level of written and spoken English completes your profile
You enjoy working in an international team
