About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develops, maintains, and enhances cloud-based data platform solutions with Databricks
- Collaborates with teams to validate requirements and recommend scalable solutions
- Designs and supports Databricks workspaces, clusters, and data pipelines
- Implements data platform governance standards and performs analysis, design, and support
- Integrates new Databricks capabilities and optimizes data pipelines for performance
- Automates infrastructure provisioning and contributes to CI/CD processes
- Develops conversion and migration plans for data platform capabilities
- Supports change readiness and platform adoption initiatives
Requirements
What you’ll need- Typically 8+ years with bachelor's or equivalent
- Strong hands-on experience with Databricks workspace administration
- Experience with cluster management and job scheduling
- Proficiency in Spark performance tuning, SQL, and data modeling concepts
- Preferred experience: Unity Catalog, Apache Airflow, MLflow, Terraform, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps
- 3–5 years of experience in data engineering, platform engineering, or related technology role
