About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Reports, analyzes and interprets financial and operating data for accounting and business operations management
Generates financial forecasts and creates financial models to support the organization's financial and business planning decisions
Provides analytical support to management including P&L projections/forecasts, scenario planning, ratio analysis, budgeting, and cost analysis related to business models
Performs economic research and studies in rates of return, depreciations, working capital requirements, investment opportunities, investment performance and impact of governmental requirements
Gathers, analyzes, prepares and summarizes recommendations for financial plans, acquisition activity, trended future requirements and operating forecasts
Prepares journal entries, calculates accruals, allocates expenses, and closely interacts with the accounting team during the month-end close process
Responds to information requests from internal customers and others as assigned
Develops financial reports for forecasting, trending, and narrative results analysis for management
Develops and distributes standard and ad-hoc monthly reporting
Reviews and analyzes reports to verify results
Works with management to develop, monitor and report-out on key performance indicators for the business
Assists with the development, preparation, and presentation of short- and long-range financial plans

Requirements

What you’ll need

Typically 5+ years with bachelor's or equivalent
Extensive knowledge and application of principles, theories and concepts
Complete knowledge of all job functions and the broad industry best practices, techniques and standards
Knowledge of GAAP and complex accounting systems
Masters Degree
Knowledge of BEX or SAP
