About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Reports, analyzes and interprets financial and operating data for accounting and business operations management
  • Generates financial forecasts and creates financial models to support the organization's financial and business planning decisions
  • Provides analytical support to management including P&L projections/forecasts, scenario planning, ratio analysis, budgeting, and cost analysis related to business models
  • Performs economic research and studies in rates of return, depreciations, working capital requirements, investment opportunities, investment performance and impact of governmental requirements
  • Gathers, analyzes, prepares and summarizes recommendations for financial plans, acquisition activity, trended future requirements and operating forecasts
  • Prepares journal entries, calculates accruals, allocates expenses, and closely interacts with the accounting team during the month-end close process
  • Responds to information requests from internal customers and others as assigned
  • Develops financial reports for forecasting, trending, and narrative results analysis for management
  • Develops and distributes standard and ad-hoc monthly reporting
  • Reviews and analyzes reports to verify results
  • Works with management to develop, monitor and report-out on key performance indicators for the business
  • Assists with the development, preparation, and presentation of short- and long-range financial plans

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Typically 5+ years with bachelor's or equivalent
  • Extensive knowledge and application of principles, theories and concepts
  • Complete knowledge of all job functions and the broad industry best practices, techniques and standards
  • Knowledge of GAAP and complex accounting systems
  • Masters Degree
  • Knowledge of BEX or SAP
