About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Respond to customer inquiries, expedite critical orders, communicate dispositions, research and resolve issues, and track orders.
  • Provide support such as quote preparation, order tracking, backlog processing, invoicing, returns, discrepancy resolution, and customer credit assistance to sales team members and/or external customers (including order expediting, stock inquiries, reporting, and stock rotation).
  • Identify, investigate, and participate in opportunities to improve processes and procedures, including monitoring and contributing to key performance metrics.
  • Ensure good customer relations are maintained and that customer claims and complaints are resolved fairly, effectively, and in accordance with consumer laws.
  • Maintain and update electronic and/or hard-copy records as required.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Previous experience in a contact center/call center and/or face-to-face customer service
  • Fluency in German
  • Excellent telephone manner with the ability to connect with customers and offer solutions quickly
  • Proficient level of English, both written and verbal
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and ability to learn new systems quickly
  • Able to remain calm and diplomatic at all times
  • Enthusiastic about learning and development
