About the role

  • Administer and maintain on-prem Kubernetes clusters, including installation, upgrades, patching, and monitoring.
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management using ArgoCD.
  • Troubleshoot system, container, and network-level issues across distributed environments.
  • Implement and monitor security and access policies in line with industry best practices.
  • Collaborate with developers, security engineers, and infrastructure teams to ensure seamless CI/CD workflows.
  • Design and implement backup, disaster recovery, and high availability strategies for Kubernetes clusters.
  • Monitor performance and health of workloads, nodes, and clusters using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, etc.
  • Maintain documentation and operational runbooks for infrastructure components and procedures.

Requirements

  • Proven hands-on experience managing on-premises Kubernetes environments (kubeadm, containerd, etc.)
  • Strong experience with ArgoCD for GitOps workflows and continuous delivery
  • Strong knowledge of observability and monitoring stacks, including Grafana Alloy, Prometheus, metrics pipelines, and alerting
  • Exposure to monitoring/observability tools (Grafana, Prometheus, etc.)
  • Solid scripting experience in PowerShell, Bash, Python, or similar
  • Familiarity with storage and networking concepts in Kubernetes
  • Understanding of RBAC, secrets, taints, tolerations, and other Kubernetes primitives
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills
