About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead content strategy and planning for the conference program
Partner with Show Director and Live Content leadership to align positioning and target audiences
Manage integration and evolution of conference program into AVIXA/InfoComm
Own speaker and content partner ecosystem including recruitment and management
Leverage industry input and audience research to refine topics and messaging
Establish and manage content advisory groups as appropriate
Monitor and analyze content performance translating insights into improvements
Provide content leadership for attendee experience and sponsorship alignment
Serve as a strategic content advisor to stakeholders
Support content-led growth initiatives through supplemental editorial projects
Partner with Event Operations for effective delivery of education programs
Serve as primary point of accountability for conference program content status
Represent organization externally at industry events

Requirements

What you’ll need

Minimum of 5 years of experience in B2B conference or program management
Proven ability to lead complex, cross-functional programs through influence, clear decision-making, and stakeholder alignment
Strong strategic and critical thinking skills
Existing understanding or ability to develop expertise in the AV market
Excellent project management and organizational skills
Well-developed business acumen
Professional adaptability and resilience
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Demonstrated ability to influence without authority
Comfort with budget inputs, basic financial tracking, and vendor oversight
Experience in a technology-related field is desirable but not required
Advanced proficiency with Zoom and Microsoft Office Suite
