About the role
- Lead strategy for improving and enhancing experiences at the InfoComm tradeshow.\n
- Oversee immersive activation hubs and on-site events that drive attendee satisfaction and connections.\n
- Manage branding, customer journey, and wayfinding; ensure alignment with AVIXA brand and show messaging.\n
- Develop strategic partnerships and sponsorship opportunities; collaborate with sales.\n
- Manage program budgets, track expenses, negotiate contracts, and ensure ROI.\n
- Establish KPIs for activations and generate post-show reports.\n
- Travel as needed (30-40%).
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree preferred\n
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in event management, experiential marketing, or a related field, with a focus on large-scale events or tradeshows\n
- Proven experience in developing and executing innovative, immersive experiences that enhance brand perception and attendee engagement\n
- Strong background in strategic planning, budget management, and vendor negotiations\n
- Experience with community-building and networking strategies within a professional context\n
- Previous employment at an association with trade show experience is a strong plus\n
- Knowledge of the AV industry is a plus\n
- Strong leadership skills and a collaborative mindset; ability to lead cross-functional teams\n
- Excellent written and verbal communication and grammar\n
- Experience with project management tools, including Basecamp and ClickUp, is a plus\n
- Travel as needed (30-40%)
