About the role

  • Procure and acquire materials, services, and equipment through market research, negotiating the best commercial conditions (total cost) for the company;
  • Research and qualify new suppliers and products through market analysis, proposing commercial agreements and contracts (including payment terms), aiming for the best cost-benefit for the company;
  • Issue purchase orders and send them to suppliers by email, performing follow-up throughout the process to ensure compliance with negotiated terms;
  • Analyze purchasing processes by selecting the appropriate contractual instruments and best conditions, with the objective of mitigating legal, financial, and technical risks for the company;
  • Provide internal customer support with up-to-date information on purchasing processes through continuous review and study of internal procedures, to ensure accuracy of communicated information;
  • Interact with suppliers and internal stakeholders by researching and sharing information to identify best practices and disseminate knowledge within the organization.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Economics, Accounting, or a related field
  • Advanced MS Office skills
  • Knowledge of purchasing/procurement processes
  • Negotiation techniques
  • Customer service techniques
  • Quality tools (MASP, 5S, Ishikawa/fishbone diagram, PDCA, 5W2H)
  • Knowledge of contract analysis
  • Knowledge of financial mathematics
  • Tax knowledge: ICMS (Difal/ST), IPI, PIS, COFINS
