About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Draft product briefs defining objectives, strategies, and expected results
  • Leverage data to guide product direction and align with business goals
  • Engage stakeholders in visioning and concept development, manage expectations, report progress, and address concerns
  • Conduct discovery to gather requirements and inform product decisions
  • Assess and prioritize stories, epics, and themes according to product strategy
  • Manage the product backlog, plan iterations, and elaborate user stories into actionable development tasks
  • Own delivery of new features and updates, manage dependencies, mitigate risks, and clarify backlog items
  • Balance user needs, IT constraints, and external-partner relationships to maximize user value
  • Continuously improve the product and customer experience using user feedback, performance data, and industry trends
  • Cultivate strategic partnerships and collaborate with cross-functional Delivery Teams
  • Lead the team toward peak performance through coaching, removing roadblocks, and providing resources

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 2+ years' experience as a Product Owner or Manager, ideally in a fast-paced Agile development environment
  • 2+ years' experience in Asset Management
  • High digital savviness with MS Office Suite, SQL/Oracle database, Power BI, Smartsheet, Azure DevOps, Google Analytics, MIRO, and Figma
  • In-depth knowledge of Agile processes and principles
  • Experience with prioritization methods such as Value vs Effort and RICE
  • Creative thinking, product vision, and ability to conceptualize innovative solutions and features
  • Outstanding communication, presentation, and leadership skills
  • Ability to clearly articulate product vision and strategy
  • Fluent English communication required
  • Bilingual French skills are an asset
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Strong collaboration and cross-functional team experience
  • Understanding of end-to-end customer experience integration and dependencies
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field preferred
  • Product Ownership or Management certifications, such as Certified Scrum Master or Certified Scrum Product Owner, preferred
