Lead a team of account executives to develop and execute strategies to sell AvidXchange's B2B payment solution
Manage the growth of a hunter-based sales organization targeting healthcare, professional services, and media customers
Set sales targets, quotas, and monitor performance; analyze sales data to identify opportunities and corrective actions
Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and internal departments (marketing, product) to drive collaboration and customer satisfaction
Monitor market trends, customer preferences, and competitor activities to inform sales efforts and identify new business opportunities
Present sales forecasts, performance reports, and strategic recommendations to executive leadership based on data-driven analysis
Manage and approve the sales department's budget and oversee sales processes, procedures, and tools to ensure efficiency and effectiveness
Requirements
A minimum of 7+ years of experience in a similar sales leadership role
Experience in payment/fintech sales is a must
Strong leadership and team-building skills to motivate and guide a sales team
Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective reporting, negotiation, and team interaction
Ability to analyze market data, sales performance metrics, and trends to drive strategic decision-making
Capacity to develop long-term sales plans and align them with overall company objectives
Requires a Bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, or a related field
