About the role
- Lead a team of account executives to develop and execute strategies to sell AvidXchange's B2B payment solution
- Manage the growth of a hunter-based sales organization targeting healthcare, professional services, and media customers
- Set sales targets, quotas, and monitor performance; analyze sales data to identify opportunities and corrective actions
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and internal departments (marketing, product) to drive collaboration and customer satisfaction
- Monitor market trends, customer preferences, and competitor activities to inform sales efforts and identify new business opportunities
- Present sales forecasts, performance reports, and strategic recommendations to executive leadership based on data-driven analysis
- Manage and approve the sales department's budget and oversee sales processes, procedures, and tools to ensure efficiency and effectiveness
Requirements
- A minimum of 7+ years of experience in a similar sales leadership role
- Experience in payment/fintech sales is a must
- Strong leadership and team-building skills to motivate and guide a sales team
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective reporting, negotiation, and team interaction
- Ability to analyze market data, sales performance metrics, and trends to drive strategic decision-making
- Capacity to develop long-term sales plans and align them with overall company objectives
- Requires a Bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, or a related field
