Identify, research, and reach out to enterprise targets focused on selling B2B payments. Drive top-of-funnel activity to generate qualified leads.
Maintain a strong and steady pipeline through outbound activity, referrals, and collaboration with marketing and partnerships teams.
Partner with internal teams to transition won accounts and support early success within the first 6–12 months.
Capture insights from the field—objections, challenges, buying behavior—and work with internal teams (product, marketing) to refine messaging and solution positioning.
Hit monthly/quarterly activity and opportunity generation targets, with increasing influence on closed-won revenue goals.
Demonstrate AvidXchange solutions to create customer excitement and drive adoption.
Requirements
3+ years of experience in sales, preferably as a AE or Senior AE
Experience in payments, fintech sales, or SaaS
Excellent written and verbal communication skills—confident leading outreach and discovery conversations
Experience selling into healthcare, professional services, media or manufacturing firms
Familiarity with basis points/rebates with an understanding of the vendor payment challenges
Track record of selling to C-level executives in mid-market companies ($25M–$1B revenue)
Strong work ethic and a willingness to own your number and build your book of business
Familiar with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) and outbound platforms (e.g., Outreach, Salesloft)
Resilient, coachable, and excited to grow into a full-cycle AE over time
Consistent achievement of or exceeding sales quotas
