About the role

  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies and plans to achieve revenue targets and expand market share.
  • Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing sales team, providing professional development and guidance.
  • Performance Management: Set sales quotas, monitor performance, and analyze sales data to identify opportunities for improvement and corrective action.
  • Client & Stakeholder Relations: Establish and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and internal departments (marketing, product, etc.) to drive collaboration and customer satisfaction.
  • Market Analysis: Monitor market trends, customer preferences, and competitor activities to inform sales efforts and identify new business opportunities.
  • Reporting: Present sales forecasts, performance reports, and strategic recommendations to executive leadership based on data-driven analysis.
  • Budget Management: Manage and approve the sales department's budget, ensuring efficient resource allocation.
  • Sales Operations: Oversee sales processes, procedures, and tools to ensure departmental efficiency and effectiveness.

Requirements

  • Experience: A minimum of 7+ years of experience in a similar sales leadership role is required.
  • Experience in payment/fintech sales is a must.
  • Leadership: Strong leadership and team-building skills to motivate and guide a sales team.
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective reporting, negotiation, and team interaction.
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze market data, sales performance metrics, and trends to drive strategic decision-making.
  • Strategic Thinking: Capacity to develop long-term sales plans and align them with overall company objectives
  • Education: Requires a Bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, or a related field.
