About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Own the month-end close checklist end-to-end
Oversee the full accounting close cycle each month
Manage preparation and distribution of periodic internal financial statements
Support the Controller in preparing external audit deliverables
Manage the accounting for company inventory and fixed assets
Partner with the Corporate Controller and IT Systems Analyst on process improvement initiatives

Requirements

What you’ll need

6–8 years of progressive accounting experience
Canadian CPA designation (CPA, CA; CPA, CMA; or CPA, CGA) required
Demonstrated experience managing multi-entity consolidations
Experience in a manufacturing, hardware, or hardware+SaaS environment
Strong technical knowledge of IFRS and/or ASPE
Advanced Excel and data management skills
Track record of running a structured, documented close process
Clear and confident communicator
