About the role

  • Partner with design and development teams to ensure manufacturability and quality requirements are met.
  • Develop and validate manufacturing processes, work instructions, and quality plans for new products.
  • Support pilot builds and production ramp-up activities.
  • Investigate and resolve field and manufacturing quality issues using root cause analysis tools (e.g., 8D, Fishbone, FMEA).
  • Implement corrective and preventive actions to eliminate recurrence of issues.
  • Monitor product performance and reliability metrics, driving improvements where needed.
  • Identify opportunities to reduce defects, improve yield, and optimize production efficiency.
  • Lead projects focused on process improvement, cost reduction, and quality enhancement.
  • Create / revise process documentation.
  • Act as a technical liaison between engineering, product management, & suppliers.
  • Ensure compliance with internal and external quality standards and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, Quality or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in manufacturing or quality engineering within a production environment.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent written and communication skills.
  • Experience in complex electromechanical assemblies.
  • Strong knowledge of quality tools and methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean, SPC).
  • Experience with root cause analysis and corrective action processes.
  • Proficient in MS office products (Word, Excel).
  • Power BI is a plus.
