About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support the development of landowner outreach material to support infrastructure projects
- Develop and distribute communications, mailings, and outreach materials
- Manage and track outreach and engagement activities and data, including all communications and responses
- Ensure all project data is entered into project tracking tools
- Support planning and execution of large infrastructure projects
- Support programs and processes, identify existing or potential problems, resolve and remedy circumstances before problems occur, and modify processes to improve products, procedures, and programs
- Support and maintain real estate landowner outreach schedule for multiple large infrastructure projects, to include key milestone dates, deadlines, meetings, discussions, etc.
- Maintain a list of tracked action items and assist with the closure of those items
- Maintain project documentation files and track points of contact and key activities
- Develop weekly and monthly progress reports detailing key project activities
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
What you’ll need- 2–4 years of experience in communications, public outreach, project coordination, or related fields
- Experience supporting federal, state, or local government projects preferred
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with experience drafting outreach materials and correspondence
- Experience managing data, trackers, or communication logs with high attention to detail
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams)
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Experience supporting infrastructure, real estate, or land acquisition projects is a plus
- Ability to obtain public trust clearance
