About the role

  • Independent responsibility for sales in the DACH region (Germany, Austria, Switzerland), with a focus on travel sales and the MICE sector
  • Leading negotiations and closing contracts with (luxury) tour operators, travel wholesalers and MICE agencies, primarily in the luxury segment
  • Maintaining and developing relationships with key accounts, distribution partners and media contacts
  • Developing and implementing sales and marketing strategies, including budget planning
  • Conducting training sessions and presentations about Grecotel Hotels & Resorts, both digitally and at on-site events
  • Representing the company at trade shows, roadshows and industry events
  • Proactive new-client acquisition (e.g., via sales calls and networking)
  • Budget responsibility including monitoring and reporting

Requirements

  • Degree in Business Administration, Tourism or a comparable qualification
  • Several years of experience in tourism sales, ideally with luxury hotels and a focus on luxury travel or MICE
  • High and flexible willingness to travel by car, train and plane
  • Existing network in travel trade, luxury tour operators and MICE is an advantage
  • Business-fluent German and English, spoken and written (additional languages welcome, Greek preferred)
  • Strong sales and communication skills and ability to work independently
  • Confident user of all common MS Office programs
  • Driving licence (Class B)
