About the role
- Independent responsibility for sales in the DACH region (Germany, Austria, Switzerland), with a focus on travel sales and the MICE sector
- Leading negotiations and closing contracts with (luxury) tour operators, travel wholesalers and MICE agencies, primarily in the luxury segment
- Maintaining and developing relationships with key accounts, distribution partners and media contacts
- Developing and implementing sales and marketing strategies, including budget planning
- Conducting training sessions and presentations about Grecotel Hotels & Resorts, both digitally and at on-site events
- Representing the company at trade shows, roadshows and industry events
- Proactive new-client acquisition (e.g., via sales calls and networking)
- Budget responsibility including monitoring and reporting
Requirements
- Degree in Business Administration, Tourism or a comparable qualification
- Several years of experience in tourism sales, ideally with luxury hotels and a focus on luxury travel or MICE
- High and flexible willingness to travel by car, train and plane
- Existing network in travel trade, luxury tour operators and MICE is an advantage
- Business-fluent German and English, spoken and written (additional languages welcome, Greek preferred)
- Strong sales and communication skills and ability to work independently
- Confident user of all common MS Office programs
- Driving licence (Class B)
