About the role
- Commercial management at the level of the group parent company
- Direct responsibility for Finance, Legal, Administration and Controlling
- Responsibility for the preparation of the consolidated financial statements as well as monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements (IFRS/HGB)
- Monthly reporting of internal accounting including responsibility for the forecast and budgeting process
- Liquidity and foreign currency management (Treasury)
- Primary contact for authorities, auditors, tax advisors, banks, insurers and shareholders
- Planning and execution of internal audits
- Tax, finance and contractual due diligence for M&A transactions
- Management and optimization of the internal control system
- Group-wide finance and controlling projects, including further roll-out of Workday (ERP solution)
- Close cooperation with the three other board members of AVIAREPS AG and the managing directors of the international subsidiaries
- Direct reporting line to the Chief Executive Officer and the Supervisory Board
Requirements
- University degree with a focus on accounting, controlling and/or taxation, or equivalent qualification
- Entrepreneurial thinking and acting
- Several years of professional experience in a comparable position as CFO or in a commercial management role in an internationally active mid-sized company – ideally at a parent company/holding; experience from the auditing industry is a plus
- Solid accounting knowledge under HGB and IFRS
- Excellent Microsoft Office skills; ERP experience (Workday/Sage/KHK advantageous)
- Strong commercial understanding, quick comprehension, high analytical ability, strategic thinking, and a structured working style combined with a hands-on mentality
- High willingness to perform and strong communication skills in an international environment
- High commitment, reliability, organizational strengths and team spirit
- Business-fluent English
