About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Apply electrical and electronic theory and related knowledge as part of an engineering staff
Work with engineering staff to build, repair, adjust, and modify electrical components, circuitry, controls, and machinery
Support engineering staff in evaluating equipment and making engineering design decisions
Operate and install integrated computer/communication systems
Test and understand consoles, simulators, and other data acquisition systems
Provide support for test equipment and systems requested by engineering staff
Use test equipment to measure equipment effectiveness and accuracy

Requirements

What you’ll need

3 to 10 years of experience
Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret Department of Defense security clearance
U.S. Citizenship is required
Apply electrical and electronic theory and related knowledge
Properly operate and install integrated computer/communication systems
Ability to test and understand the operations of consoles, simulators, and other data acquisition systems
Support appropriate types of test equipment and systems
Utilize test equipment to measure equipment effectiveness and accuracy
Build, repair, adjust, and modify electrical components, circuitry, controls, and machinery under the direction of engineering staff
