About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Apply electrical and electronic theory and related knowledge as part of an engineering staff
  • Work with engineering staff to build, repair, adjust, and modify electrical components, circuitry, controls, and machinery
  • Support engineering staff in evaluating equipment and making engineering design decisions
  • Operate and install integrated computer/communication systems

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 3 to 10 years of experience
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret Department of Defense security clearance
  • U.S. Citizenship is required
  • Apply electrical and electronic theory and related knowledge
  • Properly operate and install integrated computer/communication systems
  • Ability to test and understand the operations of consoles, simulators, and other data acquisition systems
  • Support appropriate types of test equipment and systems
  • Utilize test equipment to measure equipment effectiveness and accuracy
  • Build, repair, adjust, and modify electrical components, circuitry, controls, and machinery under the direction of engineering staff
