About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead the definition, development, and delivery of a China-native AVEVA Unified Engineering product
- Localize AVEVA’s Engineering portfolio to meet China market requirements, including Xinchuang standards
- Define and maintain the product vision and roadmap for the China Engineering offer
- Gather and synthesize feedback from customers, partners, and internal stakeholders
- Translate market needs into product requirements, including epics, features, and user stories
- Ensure traceability from concept to delivery
- Collaborate with China-based R&D teams, global engineering, marketing, and sales
- Ensure compliance with local regulatory and technical standards and integration with China’s domestic IT ecosystem
- Support product positioning, messaging, sales enablement, and customer success with China commercial teams
- Define KPIs and track post-launch product performance
- Use data to drive continuous improvement and inform future releases
Requirements
What you’ll need- 7+ years of experience in product management, preferably in industrial software or Engineering domains
- Strong understanding of software technologies, Owner Operator, EPC or Engineering company practices
- Experience working with or within China’s industrial software ecosystem
- Familiarity with Xinchuang standards and China’s domestic IT infrastructure is highly desirable
- Fluent in Mandarin and English
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
- Successful applicants must undergo and pass a comprehensive background check before starting employment
- Proof of work authorization may be included in the background check
