About the role
- Establish and operationalise AVEVA’s Responsible AI framework
- Ensure our AI initiatives are developed ethically, securely, and in line with global regulations
- Work across Legal, IT Security, and AI/Data teams to embed governance-by-design principles and drive programme delivery
- Manage the portfolio of AI governance projects, defining scope, milestones, and deliverables
- Develop and implement a holistic AI governance framework that aligns with industry best practices and upcoming regulations
- Act as a subject matter expert, advising AI product and engineering teams
- Create and maintain a "Responsible AI Playbook" providing developers with clear guidelines, tools, and templates
- Lead proactive risk assessments for new AI use cases and translate regulatory requirements into technical controls
- Develop and track KPIs to measure effectiveness and efficiency of the governance framework
- Stay abreast of the evolving global AI regulatory landscape
Requirements
- Proven experience in leading technology-focused governance programmes
- Strong background in AI/ML lifecycle management, risk and compliance, and cross-functional programme delivery
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex regulatory requirements into actionable frameworks that enable innovation while ensuring compliance.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Information Systems, Computer Science, Business)
- Proven experience in a technology-focused Product Owner, Project Manager, or Program Manager role
- Experience in IT governance, risk, compliance, or auditing; certifications like CISA, CISM, or PMP are advantageous but not a substitute for practical delivery experience.
- Hands-on familiarity with the AI/ML project lifecycle, from data acquisition and model training to deployment and monitoring.
- Experience with generative AI and agentic systems is highly desirable.
