About the role
- Design, implement, and extend key features of our core product, the “AVES Launcher”
- Develop and optimize pipelines and interfaces for geospatial data, maps, and 3D mesh processing.
- Build user-facing tools (eg. data importers, editing viewports) and backend systems (eg. user management, credit usage, project tracking).
- Design and implement geometric algorithms to generate and visualize 3D environments across platforms and standard formats.
- Take end-to-end ownership of feature development – from design & implementation to testing, integration, and deployment.
- Work closely with our CTO on architecture and feature planning.
Requirements
- 3+ years in SW engineering, ideally with a focus on graphics, geospatial, or simulation
- Proficient in C++ (required), familiarity with Python is a plus.
- Strong understanding of software architectures and geometric algorithms.
- Independent and creative problem-solving mindset is highly desired and valued.
- Comfortable to work in an agile, fast-paced, highly dynamic startup environment.
- Experience with Unreal Engine or similar 3D/game engines is an advantage.
- Experience in setting up and managing CI/CD toolchains is a plus.
- Game development experience in C++ is an advantage.
- Interest in technical leadership and the ambition to take on expanded responsibility over time.
