Key responsibilities & impact

Responsible for ensuring the safe, effective, and economical use of medications for patients of all ages.
Prepares and dispenses prescriptions, advising healthcare professionals on drug therapies.
Monitoring patient medication regimens and conducting patient education on drug use.
Collaborates with medical staff to manage patient treatments.
Oversees the activities of pharmacy technical staff and interns.

Requirements

What you’ll need

An active license in the state of practice within 30 Days.
Doctorate (PHD) preferred.
BPS Certification - Board of Pharmacy Specialties (BPS) preferred.
Board Certified by Board of Pharmaceutical Specialties (Refer to staff development plan for specific requirements).
