About the role

  • Responsible for the assessment, treatment, and management of the cardiopulmonary system for neonates, pediatrics, adolescents, and adults.
  • Evaluate patients and administer respiratory and cardiopulmonary treatments and tests.
  • Document patient assessment, interventions, and progress in the electronic medical record.
  • Initiate and implement respiratory care plans to improve patient outcomes.
  • Perform administration, set-up, maintenance, and evaluations of supplemental oxygen and ventilator management.
  • Assist in cardiac arrest situations by performing CPR and emergency airway care.

Requirements

  • An active license in the state of practice Upon Hire
  • Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) - National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) Upon Hire or Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) - National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) Upon Hire
  • Bachelor's preferred
  • 1-3 years of experience in respiratory therapy.
