About the role
- Responsible for the assessment, treatment, and management of the cardiopulmonary system for neonates, pediatrics, adolescents, and adults.
- Evaluate patients and administer respiratory and cardiopulmonary treatments and tests.
- Document patient assessment, interventions, and progress in the electronic medical record.
- Initiate and implement respiratory care plans to improve patient outcomes.
- Perform administration, set-up, maintenance, and evaluations of supplemental oxygen and ventilator management.
- Assist in cardiac arrest situations by performing CPR and emergency airway care.
Requirements
- An active license in the state of practice Upon Hire
- Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) - National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) Upon Hire or Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) - National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) Upon Hire
- Bachelor's preferred
- 1-3 years of experience in respiratory therapy.
