About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Design, develop, and maintain enterprise banking applications using Java technologies
Participate in the full software development lifecycle within an Agile environment
Manage and administer cloud-native infrastructure, including OpenShift environments and CI/CD platforms
Provide technical consulting and expertise for cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes-based platforms, and Spring Boot REST applications
Define and support cloud architecture and infrastructure best practices
Collaborate with development, operations, and business teams to ensure scalable, secure, and reliable solutions
Monitor application and infrastructure performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement improvements
Contribute to architectural discussions and technical decision-making

Requirements

What you’ll need

Strong experience with Java EE, Spring, and Spring Boot
Experience with Git, Bitbucket, and Maven
Hands-on experience with OpenShift and cloud environments, preferably Azure Cloud
Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and tools such as TeamCity and TFS
Experience with Oracle Database
Familiarity with Tomcat and JSF
Understanding of containerized and cloud-native architectures
Experience providing technical guidance on infrastructure and application architecture
Strong communication skills and ability to work in cross-functional Agile teams
Upper-Intermediate English proficiency or higher
Nice-to-have: Experience with Kubernetes administration and architecture
Nice-to-have: Previous experience in banking or financial services environments
Nice-to-have: Knowledge of security and compliance requirements within regulated industries
Nice-to-have: Experience with microservices and distributed systems
