About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Create, maintain, and execute comprehensive test cases and test scenarios for banking applications
  • Perform API testing using tools such as Postman and SoapUI
  • Conduct SQL and database testing to validate data integrity, accuracy, and business rules
  • Identify, document, report, and track software defects throughout the development lifecycle
  • Validate application compliance with security, regulatory, and data accuracy requirements
  • Execute regression, integration, and functional testing prior to production releases
  • Collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to ensure high-quality software delivery
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Experience with API testing (Postman, SoapUI, REST APIs)
  • Strong knowledge of SQL and database testing methodologies
  • Hands-on experience with test management and defect tracking tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, and TestRail
  • 2–3 years of experience in the banking domain
  • Understanding of Agile/Scrum software development methodologies
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
  • Fluent Bulgarian language skills are mandatory
