About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Design and develop robust microservices in .NET 8+, applying an AI-first approach for coding, refactoring, and analysis
Collaborate with Business, QA, and Development teams to accelerate requirement refinement and technical solutioning
Optimize system performance, code quality, and maintainability with AI assistance while ensuring SOLID principles
Design and optimize complex queries in both relational (SQL Server) and non-relational (MongoDB) databases
Integrate AI into the entire development lifecycle, including automated testing, documentation, and early issue detection in code reviews
Ensure a responsible and secure use of AI tools, validating and correcting outputs with critical thinking
Promote a continuous improvement mindset focused on high impact and technical excellence

Requirements

What you’ll need

5+ years of experience developing with .NET (version 8+) and microservices architectures
Solid experience with SQL Server and MongoDB (query optimization and design)
Proficiency in building REST APIs and working with messaging systems
Hands-on experience with Docker and basic knowledge of Kubernetes
Advanced testing skills with a strong focus on unit and integration testing
Regular and critical use of AI tools for development (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Cursor)
Experience with version control via GitHub and quality gates like SonarQube
Strong communication skills and the ability to work autonomously with a commitment to deliverables
Nice-to-have skills: Experience with Kafka or other advanced messaging queues
Knowledge of Apache NiFi for data routing and transformation
Familiarity with CI/CD environments (Azure DevOps, Jenkins)
