About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Design, implement, test, and maintain .NET applications
Build and maintain data layers with Entity Framework and direct SQL Server code
Write and optimize complex SQL; tune DB performance
Integrate third‑party APIs and custom client services securely and reliably
Apply dependency injection for modular, testable code
Deploy and troubleshoot apps on IIS and on‑prem environments
Use logging and telemetry (App Insights or similar) to monitor production
Improve legacy code for readability, testability, and maintainability
Use AI coding assistants responsibly to boost productivity and validate outputs

Requirements

What you’ll need

3–4 years of professional .NET development experience
Proficient in C# across .NET Framework 4.8 and some modern .NET (9+) development
Practical experience with Entity Framework
Strong SQL Server skills: complex queries, joins, CTEs, stored procedures, and query tuning
Hands-on experience with ASP.NET MVC and ASP.NET Web API
Experience building console/scheduled applications in production
Familiar with dependency injection using Unity and Microsoft DI patterns
Experience deploying and managing applications on IIS and on-prem infrastructure
Comfortable working in and improving legacy codebases
English level - Upper‑intermediate or higher
Ability to work US Eastern Time (EST) hours
