About the role

  • Develop simple and effective solutions, focused on delivering value in an agile and sustainable manner.
  • Build modern services in Node.js using AWS tools and services.
  • Ensure development best practices aligned with team standards.
  • Collaborate actively in the design and implementation of APIs and distributed services.
  • Provide technical guidance to other developers, fostering teamwork and knowledge sharing.
  • Participate in code reviews and promote quality and documentation standards.
  • Communicate clearly and effectively to ensure understanding of solutions and proposals within the team.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional experience with Node.js and JavaScript, preferably TypeScript.
  • Strong expertise in designing, developing, and maintaining REST APIs and distributed services.
  • At least 2 years of hands-on experience with AWS, specifically with: Lambda, S3, DynamoDB, RDS, API Gateway, and EKS (microservices).
  • Familiarity with tools such as CloudFormation, SAM, or Serverless Framework.
  • 5+ years of experience with relational and NoSQL databases.
  • Experience working with SCRUM and/or KANBAN methodologies.
  • Proficiency with Git, GitLab, Jira, Confluence, Visual Studio Code, Postman, and terminal.
  • Nice-to-have skills: Strong communication skills to foster collaboration and knowledge transfer.
  • Experience providing technical guidance to other developers.
  • Proactivity in identifying improvement opportunities within projects.
