About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Promote and enhance staff clinical expertise to provide safe, quality nursing care
- Review physicians’ orders and update plans of care and documentation as necessary
- Assist with interviewing, selecting, training, and validating new clinical staff
- Participate in patient releases from facilities to homes through Start of Care Assessments and Re-evaluations
- Collaborate with operations and business development teams
- Conduct internal case management and evaluate and develop nursing talent
- Ensure adherence to State, Federal, Local, and Aveanna policies and procedures
- Perform quality assurance of clinical documentation
- Coordinate care with ancillary healthcare providers
- Supervise nurses providing in-home skilled nursing care to infants, children, adolescents, and/or adults
Requirements
What you’ll need- Must have a good-standing RN license in the state in which the clinician will practice
- At least 2 years of hands-on RN nursing experience within the last 5 years
- Must be able to travel to patients’ homes in the designated territory
- Reliable transportation
- Valid driver’s license
- Must pass MVR check
- Current CPR certification from AHA
- Willingness to supervise nurses providing in-home skilled nursing care to infants, children, adolescents, and/or adults
