About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Own and achieve regional sales quota through direct selling efforts
  • Identify, prospect, and close new business opportunities
  • Manage and grow relationships with key accounts and strategic customers
  • Develop and execute territory and account plans
  • Conduct client meetings, presentations, and product demonstrations
  • Maintain an accurate sales pipeline and forecast
  • Negotiate contracts, and close deals
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs
  • Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, customer success, product)
  • Represent the company at industry events and client meetings
  • Prepare and calculate quotations accurately and in a timely manner
  • Enter and manage customer orders in SAP, ensuring accuracy and adherence to customer requirements
  • Track orders to ensure on-time delivery and resolve any discrepancies
  • Travel extensively (approximately 50%) to support customers and sales activities across the assigned region
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers through regular in-person visits
  • Represent the company professionally at customer locations and during field engagements
  • Maintain clear and professional communication with customers and internal stakeholders

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 5+ years of direct (quota-carrying) sales experience
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
  • Strong hunting and closing skills
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities
  • Ability to work independently and manage a territory effectively
  • Willingness to travel within the assigned region
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Customer-focused mindset with problem-solving capabilities
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 50% of the time
  • Must reside in or near Tennessee or Georgia
