Project Manager

• The Project Manager role is responsible for planning, organizing and executing post-sales activities
• The Project Manager drives forward the assigned project(s), identifies potential issues or delays, and ensures that installations are handed over to the customer on time and under budget.
• You’re the single point of contact for the assigned project(s) towards the client, subcontractors and stow stakeholders from Engineering, Finance, and Sales.
• You familiarize yourself with all the available project documentation and assess the operation, technical, and financial feasibility.
• You set up detailed project planning for high-precision racking construction incl. robotics.
• You ensure that all engineering and preparatory activities are undertaken.
• You attend kick-off, technical, commercial and planning meetings as well as site inspections.
• You work closely with Project Engineers and Construction Site Managers to drive the overall project execution.
• You outline work methods and instruct all required internal and external team members/workers.
• You foresee project risks or uncertainties, escalate any issues to the relevant project stakeholders and take mitigative action to stay within the project timeline.
• You troubleshoot and problem-solve when issues become apparent.
• You monitor and report on the execution, progress, and quality of the project.
• You identify project plan deviations and initiate corrections where necessary.
• In collaboration with the Construction Site Manager, you conduct regulatory checks.
• You maintain and adhere to the project budget.
• You take ownership of the results and act proactively with the given authority.
• You provide required reports and information punctually on request of Management.
• You ensure that all project-related documentation is up to date and properly stored/archived.
• You keep track of claims – identifying variations and/or draft delay notifications with substantiation of costs.
• You share technical knowledge with site management or other team members.
• You conduct on-site safety training if Site Manager is absent.
• You participate in company and team training as required.

Manager

• Overseeing on-site activities during assembly and construction of racking and automated storage systems
• Ensuring safe and efficient work according to QSHE standards
• Collaborating with Project Managers and Engineers
• Managing subcontractor personnel and providing problem-solving assistance
• Conducting site safety training and regulatory checks
• Monitoring project progress and maintaining project budget

Site Manager

Robotics

• Take over from Sales and Sales Engineering and lead kick off meetings
• Be the single point of contact for the integrator customer throughout the project lifecycle
• Collaboratively create material schedules based on the customer’s timeline
• Communicate progress, roadblocks and suggested solutions proactively to the customer and internal stakeholders at all stages of the project
• Develop the project budget with assistance from management
• Issue purchase orders for locally sourced products, equipment, services, etc.
• Collaborate with Project Engineering and Supply Chain regarding transport planning
• Ensure that building specs are confirmed in an initial site survey
• Present the project plan to the end-customer and integrator
• Create project schedules
• Secure installation contractors and share instructions/drawings
• Initiate change orders
• Initiate customer invoicing at key milestones in SAP
• Keep track of project spend
• Identify project risks or uncertainties, escalate issues to the relevant project stakeholders, take mitigative action to stay within the project timeline
• Be accountable for the automation installation with the assistance of a lead commissioning engineer
• Work with a stow US Racking Project Manager to ensure racking is installed on time and within the needed automation specification

Project Manager, Robotics

• Manage and organize the execution of (inter)national robotic automation projects from A to Z, following Movu methodology.
• Deliver complex, customized solutions as an experienced project manager.
• Organize the project kick-off: clearly communicate objectives, structure, timeline, and approach to all stakeholders.
• Develop clear and comprehensive project plans: define milestones and monitor task execution through close follow-up.
• Plan and allocate resources efficiently to ensure optimal performance.
• Control and monitor strict budget compliance and guarantee accurate invoicing.
• Ensure high-quality standards for deliverables, including interim validation and final acceptance.
• Monitor deadlines and anticipate potential changes to avoid delays.
• Stay vigilant to scope, time, or budget changes, identifying contract variations when necessary.
• Assess and manage potential risks proactively.
• Define and track success criteria for project completion.
• Maintain transparent stakeholder management and effectively manage expectations throughout the project.
• Organize and lead meetings, ensuring clear and consistent reporting.

Engineer

• support Sales, Engineering, Project Management, and Commissioning by sharing your expertise of the final installation and system integration
• support junior controls engineers as necessary
• support the creation of the functional description specifications regarding the installation of electrical equipment and the commissioning of controls
• Develop Programmable Logical Control (PLC) programs
• draft documentation such as SOPs and contribute to creating manual
• develop and design electrical cabinets
• create schematics and network diagrams
• design controls algorithms and safety systems
• program device communication of pallet conveyance and pallet inspection equipment
• test and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems and processes
• work closely with R&D
• source external vendors for materials
• lead engineering and automation teams through concept planning, configuration, and development
• contribute to the creation of risk assessment documents that identify hazards in a system
• optimize the system by offering simulation support
• support the Sales Engineering team with product testing
• contribute to the mechanical system layout drawings regarding all electrical and controls specifications including cable routing
• contribute to the development of test plans alongside the Commissioning Team
• make Full Load Amps calculations
• ensure UL listed components are selected and cabinet is assembled compliant to such standards
• be present on-site at First Power Up to make sure everything is operational after rack installation and to make sure everything is functional before our robots are commissioned
• be present on-site when commissioning is in final stages to prepare the Movu system for handover to the end-customer
• perform Site Acceptance Testing
