About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Create and close sales opportunities for all product solutions
- Responsible for the complete chain of sales activities (incl. proposals, calculations, and offers)
- Initiate sales opportunities with warehouse automation integrators on behalf of end customers
- Find new integrators to partner with
- Participate in trade shows (Modex/Promat, and industry-specific ones)
- Lead and coordinate focused marketing efforts such as writing blog posts and speaking opportunities at trade shows
- Provide monthly and yearly forecasts and reports
- Support on the sidelines of sold projects; e.g., change orders
Requirements
What you’ll need- Several years of sales experience in the material handling industry; ideally for a manufacturer selling to integrators or selling as the integrator to the end customer
- Hunter and farmer mindset
- Must live in vicinity to a major airport
- Willing to travel around 50% throughout the US and Canada; plus occasionally to training events or reference site visits in Europe
- Must be able to accommodate early morning hours to connect with European colleagues
