About the role
- The Project Manager role is responsible for planning, organizing and executing post-sales activities
- The Project Manager drives forward the assigned project(s), identifies potential issues or delays, and ensures that installations are handed over to the customer on time and under budget.
- You’re the single point of contact for the assigned project(s) towards the client, subcontractors and stow stakeholders from Engineering, Finance, and Sales.
- You familiarize yourself with all the available project documentation and assess the operation, technical, and financial feasibility.
- You set up detailed project planning for high-precision racking construction incl. robotics.
- You ensure that all engineering and preparatory activities are undertaken.
- You attend kick-off, technical, commercial and planning meetings as well as site inspections.
- You work closely with Project Engineers and Construction Site Managers to drive the overall project execution.
- You outline work methods and instruct all required internal and external team members/workers.
- You foresee project risks or uncertainties, escalate any issues to the relevant project stakeholders and take mitigative action to stay within the project timeline.
- You troubleshoot and problem-solve when issues become apparent.
- You monitor and report on the execution, progress, and quality of the project.
- You identify project plan deviations and initiate corrections where necessary.
- In collaboration with the Construction Site Manager, you conduct regulatory checks.
- You maintain and adhere to the project budget.
- You take ownership of the results and act proactively with the given authority.
- You provide required reports and information punctually on request of Management.
- You ensure that all project-related documentation is up to date and properly stored/archived.
- You keep track of claims – identifying variations and/or draft delay notifications with substantiation of costs.
- You share technical knowledge with site management or other team members.
- You conduct on-site safety training if Site Manager is absent.
- You participate in company and team training as required.
Requirements
- Willingness to travel to sites (50% of time).
- Monitoring the progress and quality of the project, identifying deviations and correcting (or initiate corrections) where necessary.
- Managing operational staff and subcontractors regarding the project execution.
- Supervises the safe execution of the project on site and observes the QSHE regulations and administration.
- Supervises the assembly methods and checks the quality of the delivered materials.
