Business Development Executive – Sales
AVASKBusiness Development Executive responsible for building customer relationships and driving sales strategy for AVASK in Germany. Overseeing sales cycles and ensuring client satisfaction in e-commerce sector.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- You are the primary point of contact for all customer account management matters.
- You negotiate contracts and finalize agreements to maximize profitability.
- You build trusted advisory relationships with key accounts, client representatives, and executives.
- You ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions in line with customer needs and objectives.
- You forecast and track key metrics for major accounts (e.g., quarterly sales results and annual forecasts) and prepare account status reports.
- You work with the sales team to identify and expand opportunities within the territory.
- You assist with complex customer inquiries and escalate issues when necessary.
- You maintain close relationships with partners, vendors, and suppliers where appropriate.
- You stay up to date on internal and external developments in the e-commerce space to build solid knowledge of sellers and the industry.
- You supervise and support the work of junior members of the Business Development team.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Experience in business development – minimum 5 years.
- University degree – BSc/BA in Business Administration or a related field.
- Excellent communication skills in German and English (spoken and written).
- Ability to engage with internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Organized with a proven ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Confident, professional, and personable with a positive attitude.
